Market Ban with no reason, the whole appeal story !
I honestly never thought I would be making a post like this after supporting EA Sports FC for years and spending over AUD $25,000 on FC26 this year
On 16 May, during the promo, I purchased around AUD $1,000 worth of FC Points directly through PlayStation/EA and opened a large amount of 750 FC Points tradable packs. Like every normal Ultimate Team player does, I then sold the players I packed on the transfer market.
That is literally ALL I did.
I did NOT:
- Buy coins
- Sell coins
- Transfer coins
- Use bots
- Use sniping software
- Use third-party websites
- Share my account
- Manipulate the market
Every coin on my account came from legitimate pack openings purchased directly from EA themselves. Most of the cards sold were FIRST OWNER cards packed by me from tradable packs.
Then suddenly my transfer market gets banned for “coin distribution”.
How does that even make sense?
I requested my DSAR/log data from EA. I carefully reviewed the information they provided and there is nothing there clearly showing coin buying, coin selling, or illegal transfers. The logs mainly show normal transfer market activity and player sales from the exact period where I was opening hundreds of dollars worth of packs.
I also attached my PlayStation payment history and purchase evidence to my appeals to prove exactly where the coins came from. EA can literally verify:
- My FC Points purchases
- My pack opening history
- The players packed
- The transfer listings
- The timing of all activity
Everything should line up perfectly.
What makes this even worse is the appeal system feels completely automated. I keep receiving generic copy-paste replies saying the sanction was “correctly applied” without a single mention of the evidence I submitted. Nobody has explained:
- Which exact transactions violated the rules
- What specific evidence they relied on
- Why legitimate first owner packed players triggered a ban
- Why my payment history was ignored
It genuinely feels like an automated anti-fraud system falsely flagged high-volume pack openings and mass player sales without proper human investigation.
The most frustrating part is this completely destroys the Ultimate Team experience. I spent years and a huge amount of money building my club legitimately, only to suddenly lose access to the transfer market for doing something EA literally encourages players to do: buy FC Points, open packs, and trade players.
How can EA promote tradable packs, allow people to spend thousands, then punish players for selling the players they packed?
At this point I am publicly asking EA for:
- A REAL manual review by a senior human specialist
- Proper investigation of my payment and pack history
- Full explanation of what supposedly triggered this sanction
- Immediate removal of the transfer market ban if no actual coin distribution occurred
I am not asking for special treatment. I am asking for fairness and an actual investigation instead of automated responses.
Has anyone else had this happen recently after opening a large amount of tradable packs? Because right now this honestly feels like a major false flag issue with EA’s automated system and to me it is a fraud from EA
