It's a known bug. The only way I found that work is to go in your settings, uninstall the game, and never purchase anything that has EA's name attached to it.
If any EA lackeys want to prove me wrong, I challenge them to provide a better solution. I wouldn't hold my breath, though....not a very helpful bunch. Ask me how I know.
