Special Card Spread

For transparency, I'm a Fulham fan. I'm not disgruntled, but just bored of seeing the same teams getting special cards week in week out, while certain teams seem to get ignored. Now, I understand that bigger teams have bigger following, but smaller clubs have fans too.

If I use Fulham as an example. Along with Wolves, we've only had 2 special cards this season in FUT. The major difference between us and Wolves is, we're sat in 7th in the Premier League. However, we don't seem to be recognised by EA as a club worthy of special cards. Two TOTW which were justified, but no special player items in any campaign heading into February.

It's becoming a running joke in my office, so much so that we started creating a running tally. See attachment. Arsenal 25 special cards, Liverpool 24, Man City 23 and Man Utd 17. Over 44% of the special cards in the Premier League have gone to these four teams. Yes, big supporter base, big demand = more money for EA. But to counter the big supporter base justification, do Chelsea Women (20 cards), Arsenal Women (14), Man Utd & Man City Women (11 cards each) have bigger current FC player supporter base or interest than any premier league club? Brighton Women (3) Villa Women (4) - crazy!

Even Wrexham have 5 special cards, plus many other Championship teams having 3 or more.

Anyway, it's a bit of a rant, but also a bit of a fun. But if anyone at EA reads this, do us a favour and put some respect on little old Fulham. So much talent in our squad.

Thanks

Personally, I think they need to do some promos based around smaller clubs or add more promo cards to account for smaller clubs. The biggest problem is that they mainly work around players that are popular in game, but it also wouldn't surprise me if there is some sort of deal when obtaining rights that means they have to promo bigger clubs.

Even if they made the players a lower rating it could be accounted for with evos, but they also probably think that people can just evo the players from the club they support. Without knowing the inner workings of EA it's pure speculation on my part, but nothing that I've said would surprise me.
