Have the same issue. It started to happen a month ago and I believed it will be fixed in FC 27 but now I launched the new fc 27 and keep facing french opponents with the 45ms ping instead of polish with 20ms. Tried to reset router, to connect wthernet directly into my console - nothing helped. I am from Ukraine, my provider is Volia (Datagroup) and I have a gigabit internet.
I’ve got the same problem here in town. I’ve been waiting two months for EA to sort it out, but they don’t seem to care what’s happening with their servers.
I used a VPN with a server in Kyiv, and the ping improved. But it’s ridiculous that, because of EA’s route changes, we have to find solutions to EA’s problems ourselves.
I contacted my internet service provider, showed them the difference in routes from my location to the servers, and they said it was an EA issue. The same thing happened a year ago; after a couple of weeks, my ping went back down to 25 from 35–50.
I hope this time they won’t say it’s a personal issue.
