I am from Romania and I’m having the same issue… I wasted my money for what? To have 44+ ms constantly?
I used to have 24-26 before July but nah this is too much… you have to fix it lol
That’s why I decided not to pick up a game this year that requires you to solve technical problems. I took out an EA Play subscription to see if this issue had been resolved. And I would have put up with a ping of 35–40 under three conditions:
1. Stable gameplay that isn’t affected by ping.
2. No packet loss, jitter or desynchronisation (this is unacceptable for competitive gaming).
3. Proper matchmaking, with 90 per cent of my opponents being people who live as close as possible to the server, mainly in Poland. And whilst previously the difference between my ping of 24–30 ms and my opponent’s ping of 5–20 ms wasn’t quite so critical, with a ping of 35–40 I’m essentially just playing against my own connection. I don’t deny that there are opponents stronger or weaker than me and that ping won’t make a difference in those cases, but when I can clearly see that it affects the outcome of a match between evenly matched opponents, I’m sorry, but I don’t want to play under such conditions.
And finally, EA, do you consider this kind of gameplay behaviour to be normal? When there’s such desynchronisation in your code?
