So, I missed the opportunity to select players for this event last week and now it appears I can’t select players this week either. What’s going on? Am I now just completely locked out? The title “Your Matchday 5 Choice” makes it sound like I ought to still be able to close players, no? And if I can’t, then why not?

Personally, I gave up on the UEFA Primetime a long time ago. To obtain, e.g., Mbappe with the discount, it will be sometime after the World Cup, and the top card is already outdated by 3 OVR, so it's just pointless to play it unless you have a sentiment to any card there, IMO. I have seen similar feedback from others outside of EA Forums.
Now I’ve been locked out (again) from participating in this event. Obviously no one at EA is working the weekends, but I would appreciate someone responding on Monday to hopefully enable me to join the event late (since matches don’t kick-off until Tuesday). I’ve done nothing wrong in either the first or this most recent instance, so it’s pretty frustrating to get shut out of an event. Nobody from EA responded to my report when this first occurred about a month ago (even after others chimed in reporting the same issue). This is one of the reasons I refuse to spend money on this game — the lack of customer service. EA, this is a chance to begin to change that perception (by fixing the bug that has me locked out of UEFA Primetime). Can I please get a response and a fix to this problem?
Same issue again. It’s says I have 3 hours before the squads lock for the Champions League kicks off again, but can’t select any players. What’s go8ng on?
WTF, EA??? Is this your idea of fun? Countless users like us missed the original player selection deadline by mere hours and now we’re locked out of this event…FOREVER? Was this the intended design or just another in a long line of glitches and errors? And how are we to even know if you won’t respond to our legitimate inquiries?
Same here. Poor event deployment as usual from EA. Gave up on it since I know how they work. We had totw last week, now this. Each week another bug and no compensation
Same thing happening to me. It's not possible to select any player. I contacted support, but they respond was that they will report the bug and I should check most frequent bugs and vote for the similar one... I don't think they will fix it or anyhow compensate it. We simply lost one event
