Yes, I think we’re all aware there is a selection window. I have tried repeatedly to make selections (as I go to the event daily) and at no point in the last three weeks have I been able to make player selections. Put simply, it’s not an issue of missing the window. It’s an issue of the window isn’t opening for some of us.
So, is that it? We’re just out of luck? On the one hand this is kind of a throwaway event, but, on the other, it’s the principle of the matter — i.e., it’s pretty infuriating to be told that the event is working fine when, in fact, it’s not for some of us. Seems like just another in a long line of “the customer is always wrong” experiences with EA. I lodged this issue a month ago and the upshot after four weeks is that I’m STILL going to be locked out this week.
The matches aren’t until Wednesday (meaning there’s still an entire work day to try and fix this, isn’t there something somebody can do to sort this out for us?
