How do we report suspected cheating in League Tournaments?

We’re in a very evenly matched league tournament and, while our top players are only able to muster 29-32 goals over three matches, our opponents have several players throwing up scores of 37 (despite no OVR advantage). This just doesn’t seem likely absent the use of an exploit. My own attacks contained multiple possessions that felt abnormally “sludgy” and where the action seemed to suddenly lurch forward at times causing me to lose possession. It just doesn’t seem plausible that our opponents are putting up perfect scores if they facing similar circumstances (which they should be given we are even on OVR). Is there any way to report suspected cheating in league tournaments? I don’t see one. 🤔

For the player who participates in the tourney on the opposing side, tap the arrow down. It will display the "PLAY AGAINST" window, then tap the INFO box, which will bring up the player's details. You can report an individual player here.
If you want to report the league, then scroll to the right, tap the "VIEW LEAGUE ", you will see the loudspeaker between the league logo and 'MEMBERS', tap that, and it gives you options to report the entire league, then follow the prompt.

I'll solve this for Visibility. Any questions, feel free to ask.

Yeah, I saw that too. Shocking and none too subtle, lol! My guess is most mod-users are quite a bit more clever. The virtue of a mode like VSA/league tournament is we’ve all played it so many times and the scenarios are predictable enough that spotting anomalies becomes a bit easier. Thanks again for the replies!

Yeah, it's not pretty. However, if you do report a league its likely going to trigger several checks, anyway. If you come across another one, flag it that way and then dm me, I'll see if I can pass the specifics on via mod path with a proper description of the offence to what you'll flag in the game. I have seen cases of 90 goals per turn in the past, haha

Wow. Yeah, that’s buried. And it doesn’t appear as though I can actually include a “report.” I can choose “cheating” under “inappropriate behavior,” but I’m not able to include a text description of the alleged behavior (as is offered when reporting in a Division Rivals match). Again, am I missing something?

  • This is what I’m talking about (see screenshots below). Despite virtually identical OVR matchups, four of our opponents scored 37 goals (meaning they converted every possession that they got). We all know that in even match-ups there are reliably 1-3 possessions where random poor touches or shots hitting the woodwork consistently rob you of a goal. This means that scores of 30-33 are typical of even strong players. So for four members of a league to all post essentially perfect scores is beyond unlikely — it suggests they are using an illegal exploit. But how is this to be reported for EA to take a closer look? I don’t see any reporting option within the tournament window. Am I missing it?

I saw another user posting recently in the forums about an even more egregious example of league tournament cheating but it appears to have been taken down (perhaps for “naming and shaming”) and so that leaves us all in the dark as to how EA wants us to follow up on this type of activity. I’m making every attempt here to avoid “naming and shaming” (which is why I’ve blotted out names in the screenshots) and would very much appreciate a reply from EA — not just for me and my league, but so that everyone can understand how to elevate suspected instances of league tournament cheating.

The community deserves to have a clear pathway for seeking redress when the integrity of the game is in question and it’s vitally important that we are able to see EA is taking action to root out this behavior.  As it stands, I think many of us have witnessed an alarming uptick in suspicious gameplay and results across Division Rivals game modes and now in league tournament play and the growing perception is that EA isn’t really doing anything about it. If this is incorrect, then please just show us.
