Well if you got to 1.5k only with 3k gems pack and daily/weekend tasks You are probably one of those Chosen ones mate 😉 I got to about 1.3k in winter event but I did open lot of 2.5k packs along with 3k packs and also managed to complete all tasks.
My complaint was around day break event being 3 week, 1.5k is tough to get. I have 320 shards as of now but this time don't have much gems to open 2.5k packs.
It is good that you are happy to get only 1 111ovr player in a 3 week event. It was not difficult to get 1.5k from Winter event as you get gems and players from divisional rivals but in after break event you can't get any players or gems from divisional rivals if you already become FC Champion and claimed rewards.
