Game with a black screen and closing by itself.

Hello, EA Support Team.

I am an active FC Mobile player and I am facing a critical issue that has completely prevented me from accessing the game for about 5 days.

The problem started suddenly: I played normally around 8:20 PM and everything was working correctly. However, when I tried to open the game again at 10:00 PM on the same day, it entered an infinite black screen loop.

After uninstalling and reinstalling the app through the Google Play Store, the issue became even worse: the game no longer gets past the startup screen, closes by itself, and Android immediately displays the message that “the app keeps crashing”.

I have already tried several troubleshooting procedures:

clearing cache and app data;

complete reinstallation;

updating Android System WebView;

updating Google Play Services;

restarting the device;

checking app permissions;

testing on different Wi-Fi and 4G networks.

Nothing solved the issue.

While researching on the official EA forum and FC Mobile communities, I found several recent reports from users experiencing similar crashes after recent game updates, including on different devices.

Everything indicates a possible incompatibility between the current FC Mobile build and certain devices, processors, or Android versions.

I am being heavily affected in my game progress, missing events and daily missions, especially with the UTOTS period approaching.

I kindly ask the technical team to investigate this issue urgently.

    Hi there, and thanks for the detailed report. Sorry to hear you’ve been locked out of the game for several days. To help us investigate this further, could you please share a few additional details about your device and setup? We need:

    • Device model
    • Android version
    • FC Mobile app version
    • Amount of free storage space available

    Could you also let me know if you are using any game booster, battery saver, VPN, or accessibility apps?

    Hello, EA_Pulsar. Thank you for the response.

    Here is the requested information:

    • Device model: Moto G10

    • Android version: Android 11

    • FC Mobile version: latest version available on the Google Play Store

    • Available free storage: approximately 9 GB

    I am not using VPN, root, or modified APKs.

    I also tested the game without optimization apps running, but the problem still happens.

    In addition, a friend of mine has a weaker device with only 32 GB of storage, and FC Mobile works normally on his phone.

    Thank you for your attention, and I hope the team can investigate this issue 🙏⚽

    Thanks for the additional details. Could you try a couple more things for us?

    • Make sure you have at least 12–15 GB of free storage available.
    • Check for updates to Google Play Games and Google Chrome in addition to Play Services and Android System WebView.
    • Set your device's date and time to Automatic if they aren't already.
    • Try launching the game while the device is in Safe Mode to rule out interference from another app.

    Also, can you confirm exactly when the crash happens? Does it occur before the EA logo appears, on the black screen, or during loading?

    I have already checked the date and time settings, and they are set to automatic. All of my applications are up to date. One thing I noticed is that the game does not appear in Safe Mode. When I launch the game, it closes by itself after about 1–2 seconds, and sometimes after 4 seconds.

    Since you've already completed the standard troubleshooting steps, could you please let us know:

    • Does the crash happen before the EA SPORTS logo appears, after the logo, or once the FC Mobile loading screen is displayed?
    • Have there been any recent Android system or security updates installed shortly before the issue started, or are there any pending system updates?
    • Are you using an SD card, and if so, is FC Mobile installed on internal storage or external storage?
    • Do you use any app cloning, Dual Apps, Parallel Space, work profile, or similar features on the device?
    • Could you check Google Play Store -Your account and - Play Protect and scan for any issues?

    Thank you for your reply.

    The problem occurs before the EA SPORTS logo appears. The screen stays completely black for a few seconds and then the game closes. After several attempts, Android shows a "continuous failures" message.

    There was no Android system update or security update installed immediately before the issue started, and I do not have any pending system updates.

    I am not using an SD card. FC Mobile is installed on the device's internal storage.

    I am not using any app cloning features such as Dual Apps, Parallel Space, Work Profile, or similar applications.

    I checked Google Play Store and Play Protect, and no issues were reported.

    Additional information: FC Mobile was working normally on this device before this problem started. Other games are still working correctly.

    Thank you for your assistance.

    Thanks. Here are some additional steps you could try.

    • Make sure Battery Saver is disabled and set FC Mobile's battery usage to Unrestricted in your device settings.
    • Clear the cache and data for the Google Play Games app
    • Restart the device and launch FC Mobile immediately after startup before opening any other apps.
    • If possible, try logging into your FC Mobile account on another Android device to see if the game launches normally there.
    • If your device supports multiple user profiles, create a new Android user profile, install FC Mobile there, and test whether the game starts.
