Madden companion app-unable to resume previous location to ultimate team.

i have tried everything. redownload app, restart phone, start game up on my console then force close, tried multiple devices. nothing seems to work. When i log in it asks what persona to chose, i then chose my xbox account, then without fail it shows the message "unable to resume previous location to ultimate team. please try again." I've never once tried logging into my MUT using the app I just want it for my franchise.
