You also preformed the Registry cleaning with Revo and you used the "Advanced" setting wile doing so?
Do you have admin rights on this System?
apologies that its been a while life just lifing lol. so i finally had it and just did a factory reset on my PC i no longer get a error message but the game still does the same.
well at first there was a problem with the physx system but that was dixed with an update to the AMD software.
now it loads up to the title page that says "press any key" and once i do the game just shuts down... no error

By the way i even went ahead and bought the game again on Steam and when i installed it it did some C++ stuff but it had the same outcome it just stopped working.......

It still looks like a corrupted save file problem.
Try this again:- Make surre Steam and EA app are closed.
- Disable the internet connection of your PC.
- Go to your "C:\Users\<Your User Name>\Documents\Bioware\Mass Effect 2" folder.
- Move the "Save" folder to your desktop. (The folder must be gone from the original path!)
- Test the game.
