Mass Effect 2 Legendary Edition Constantly Crashing on Steam

Hey so what if I don't have a ME2 folder in Documents\Bioware\Mass Effect Legendary Edition\? 

No launch profile, no saves, nothing.

1. Make sure Steam and EA app are closed.
2. Disable the internet connection of your PC.
3. Go to your "Documents\Bioware\Mass Effect Legendary Edition\” folder.
4. Move the "ME2" folder to your Desktop. (The folder must be gone from the original path!)
   Do not restore the internet connection until you tested the game!
5. Test the game.

The WER (Windows error reporting) data on your system can't be read by the DxDiag as it seems, so don''t know if you have the same problem. 

You can try if the above helps as well, the path to the Andromeda Saves is "Documents\Bioware\Mass Effect Andromeda\Save\".
You would have to move the "Save" folder. 

Hi guys,

Same issue since two days and even with a game from the franchise "Mass Effect Andromeda Deluxe Edition". Trying to start the game then a pop up says "preparing the game" and nothing occurs. Here is the rror message (number EC:10607) : "Cloud datas for that game are corrupted et we could not find the local backup datas. if you recently launched EA app on another device, we recommend to use that same device in order for us to try to restore the could datas". You can create a new backup by launching the game right now". i do not another device. if i click on "start the game" in that error message window it launches but then comes back to Steam after few seconds. It bothers me a lot !

Here you go. 

Now the problem is, I click start, screen goes black for 1-2 seconds then freezes on the launch screen.

A DxDiag is an overview of your PCs technical features and recent software errors.
There is no personal info in it expect for the “Machine name” in the second row.
(You might delete the “Machine name” and “Machine Id” line if you wish too.)

How to create a DxDiag:

1. Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time.
2. Copy and past or type "DxDiag" in the new field. (Without the quotes) > ENTER
3. Wait until the green bar is gone > Click on "Save all information"
4. Save the file to your desktop.
5. Here at EA Forum > Click Replay > Click the paper clip icon at the bottom of the replay Window.
6. Navigate to the "DxDiag.txt" on your desktop > select the "DxDiag.txt" > click on "Open".
7. Reply.
