Mass Effect Andromeda - Missing Online Access

I downloaded mass effect Andromeda yesterday through pc gamepass and when I launch it, it tells me "missing online access"  looking through the forums it seems like everyone is having this problem. Please fix it for me! The ea support chatbot refuses to connect me to a real person or actually help me in anyway, it just keeps asking the same questions referring me to the same article that is no help.

    With this error, the chatbot cannot resolve it, as it is an account-based issue that has to be resolved through Live Support. Unlike a billing issue, for example, the chatbot cannot verify or make the changes it needs to resolve this. You would need to contact support and have an advisor review the account with you, then update it on their end. 

    When you are on the help site, follow these steps:

    • In the search bar, type in "find missing content."
    • Click the link to the article How to find your missing EA in-game content
    • Scroll to the bottom and click "Contact us."
    • In the chat window, proceed through the missing content questions.
    • List Mass Effect Andromeda.
    • Type in PC for the platform.
    • It will confirm missing content.
    • Once this information is provided, you should see a chat option to connect with an advisor.


    The key to this error, as with the Mass Effect 3 Online Pass, is that we need all players to connect with support first. We need cases set up, and support will try to resolve this first. 

    Remember, a CM is not live support. We cannot verify or make account changes as live support does. The faster this happens, the faster we get players back into the game.

    Which options did you use to connect with live advisors. I did connect to them with recommended missing content option but the people advise me said they can't do anything about that and they said they'll direct the case and it'll be looked from another team. Now the cased seems closed but the problem still continue.

    After I comment this I tried again to chat with live advisors. This time thanks to John Robert I could talk with someone on the technical team instead of an answer like "this will be reviewed and connect with you via in-game messages". AND thanks to Rahul from tech team, which he really listen what I said and answer accordingly to me the problem is solved for me too. The problem on my side is because the contridiction from an Expired EA Play access that I got via Xbox Gamepass and the Steam access that where my game is bought.

    Cunazemus​ Hey, just wanted to follow up on this one. Did support get the issue resolved for you? If they did, can I get the case number from you?

    I would like to send that over so that we can have that looked at. We also want to recognize those who assisted you and helped get it solved.

    Yes they did. Case #240571767 this is the case number that with the people helped me to solve this problem.

    Add me to the long list. Case #240998673. My case is marked "No fix available," even though you and the advisor I chatted with know how to fix it. I tried to start a second chat hoping another advisor was able to actually perform the fix. Instead the chat bot forwarded me to a page stating "This issue isn't supported by advisors." In my case, I bought the standard edition in a retail box, then later played the Deluxe content while using Origin Access for a month. I would appreciate your help. Thank you.
