Multiplayer for Legendary Edition?

If the legendary edition doesn't have the ME3 Multiplayer in it, i will legit go from auto-buying this at launch to never picking it up, ever. I can't even express how great that multiplayer was, Bioware tuned the combat for over a year, added new classes regularly, added a fourth faction, it was incredibly fun. So many different builds, but most importantly, SOOO much fun when you found a decent team to play with, and someone who would chain combo's with you. 

That multiplayer is arguably the best waved based horde mode i've ever played, in any game, and the idea of getting to play it again with top level hardware, with no lag or framerate stutter since it's an older game, is like......come on bioware, don't fail to include the multiplayer, it was fantastic. 

Pleaaase, let us have the multiplayer. It was the best of it's kind, i for one would buy this collection instantly just for that dynamic ME3 class-based combat again. 

There is no point in re-buying this remaster if it doesn't include everything, even the multiplayer. I already love the classics, and refuse to buy this until they add multiplayer again. It was one of the best features of ME3. Please add it for the love of all gaming. Haven't we suffered enough in 2020?

I've always loved the ME3 Multiplayer, I always come back to it every few months to enjoy and was one of the things I was anticipating the most when I heard of the remaster. Don't get me wrong, I will buy and play the remaster, but once I play it once, I'll probably only go back once a year or so to replay the campaign again, I won't be putting in hours weekly without it and it honestly sounds somewhat dumb to not put multiplayer in.

However, I'll be keeping my old ME3 copy loaded to drop into a lobby from time to time. 🙂

Sad. Then it won't make much sense for me to buy the remaster for me.

That's the saddest thing I've heard, I got excited when I saw the pre-order option and now unfortunately I don't think I'll be getting it unless they bring back the multiplayer

Yeah, I've spend 500+ hours in ME3 multiplayer... If there is no multi in remaster I will wait for a cheap 5$ version and play it on my retirement 😉 

Mass effect is nothing without the LEGENDARY multiplayer....

Still one of the best game trilogies out there... (even though it ended)

edit: reference to Anthem included by way of pointing out that technical challenges are real, and can be solved.

I'm a bit late to this and my opinion is probably not going to be received that well, but while I feel they shouldn't ignore the multiplayer component of Mass Effect 3, I think it may be better if they first remaster that as well (graphical improvements, implement proper controller support, server improvements, etc.) and release it later as a free update.

In my opinion, Mass Effect 3's multiplayer is an underappreciated gem so in the long run they'd be shooting themselves in the foot not including it at some point. It survived until 2021 and has a dedicated player-base.
