New technical improvements, new problems.
I understand the frustration, I however see the whole thing a bit differently.
The AVX problem is not Bioware's fault, there are clear minimum system requirements for the game, and any processor that has this problem is significantly older than the required CPUs.
Overprotective virus scanners or not configuring the "Controlled Folder Access" properly is also not Bioware's responsibility.
That leaves the regional problem, and that is indeed Bioware's fault, but there are such bugs in every game, from every manufacturer, always.
There will never be a computer game without bugs, simply impossible with all the different system configurations out there.
Imho, this is just a normal launch.
And from the little I could see by now, because I spend too much time on this board it seems, 😉 the MELE is absolutely worth it.
I've tried everything that it's in this post, and It didn't work and i don't know why. Anyone know something?

Hello fellow Mass Effect fans,
Typed Windows Security>Ransomware Protection>Controlled File Protection.
I had make sure Origin client and MELE were in Allow List. Exited Origin Client; restarted Origin Client.
ME Launcher menu with all 3 games is now working!Sbfly

If I disable my graphics card in Device Manager, I can launch and play Mass Effect Legendary Edition (all three games, really choppy & unplayable performance using the on board graphics) but with it enabled, the game doesn't run and crashes at the splash screen.
This is what two days of tinkering has got me. I can't figure out what the specific problem is here, but I've narrowed it down to the GPU from a million other things, so that's nice.
Any help would be much appreciated!
Drivers are all updated, so I don't know what else it could be.
EDIT: I fixed it. I opened Nvidia Control Panel>Manage 3D Settings>Global Settings>Then clicked "Restore" button. That did it. I must have f*cked around with something in there previously, and for some reason, it only broke Mass Effect Legendary...? Bizarre!

Please create a DxDiag in text file format and post it with your next reply.
If you use Windows 7 also go to your Reliability monitor > Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time and copy and paste or type "perfmon /rel" (without the quotes) in the new Window > hit “ENTER” and look if it has entries for the game you have trouble with.
If yes double click at the last entry for the game executable, copy the info to the clipboard, and save it to a text file. You can attach the DxDiag text file you created (and the “Reliability monitor” text file as well) to your post in the “Reply” window with the “Choose File” button.

Hi, thank you so much for your answer. I ejecuted "perform/rel" and they gave me this report. I don't know much about computers, so I think that I put the right file.

- Performed all the of given tips and advice short of a reinstall. I am on a limited internet data plan and I would prefer not to have to reinstall the game. Have performed a cleanboot, the launcher would open but I receive that black screen before the game closes and I have to task manager the game to take me back to the launcher.
- Tried UNICODE/Making another User
- Disabled Windows Defender
- Reinstalled Microsoft visual studio C++ (s)
- Disabled realtek driver
- Disabled VPN&Bluetooth
- Disabled CFA
- Updated all drivers short of BIOS/UEFI
- Windows 10 64-bit build 19042
Attached is a DXDIAG, let me know if I missed anything. I've spent the last 100 minutes trying to fix this on my own and would like some more opinions. I've read through the DXDIAG and looked at the errors for MassEffect.exe, but I don't know what they mean.
