Step 2 - Disable "Controlled folder Access" of the Windows defender. worked for me.
When I turned it off, things started working. I then turned it back on and went to the exclusion section (Allow an app through Controlled folder access) and then went to "Add an allowed app" -> "Recently blocked apps" And you can see the Legendary Edition program being blocked by the system. After selecting those to add them to the allowed list, the game started running as expected!
Any help with photo Mode pictures not saving? I’ve looked the the my documents/BioWare/mass Effect legendary edition/screenshots and nothing is there. There is also nothing the games files where there is another screenshot folder. I have the game on Steam, and the Steam screenshot button does not work. I press it and nothing happens.
