Unable to Launch Mass Effect 3

grey_venger01​ This would not be an issue on our end as there are no current issues. I verified with the team there have been no reported issues happening in the last week that would cause this.

Did anything with your set up change during that week? Windows updates, ISP changes, network changes, etc. If it is a laptop, did you take it with you?

I'm at the same point as the original threadstarter. 

ME worked fine last week, after coming back from a trip on Monday, ME launcher throws up the same error. 

Tried to delete licence files, temp file, re-installed Mass Effect, reinstalled the EA launcher. Still no luck. 

As nothing changed on my end, might this be a problem on EA's end? Was there an EA app change last week?

Okay, I did manage to find this license folder and deleted it. The game is working correctly now. Everyone else said it was in the Documents folder rather than this Windows thing.

The one constant of this appears to be people who had an Origin account that got turned into an EA account when Origin was retired, because when I had Origin, Origin had its own folder, but when Origin was retired, the EA folder didn't appear until I installed the Sims 4 when I played it briefly. I didn't get the EA folder when the app replaced Origin. So, this might be an error in the EA thing.

Ive played Mass Effect 3 on this computer before and it never had any issues with it until a few days ago. Several EA advisors did ask me about looking for the license thing, and I always told that when I went to the EA folder, there was no license. I had an Origin account originally, and it got turned into the EA thing when they retired Origin. Both Mass Effect and MAss Effect 2 still work fine.

kenzer100 Following up on your DM. Do you have the game and the launcher(s) on the same drive?
Have they been moved to different drives at all in the past or recently?
Do you only get the license error?

 If there is no way to launch the game can you guide us to get a refund ?

That does not work. There is no EA license folder. And it appears as though no consistent solutions seem to exist that everyone agrees works.
