Constantly losing connection to servers

Wired connection with 700+ ms… no internet outages (tested with Verizon).  Losing connection in Rivals/Champs/moments/squad battles and constantly taking losses.  Never had this issue until NHL 25.  I don’t have an external hard drive or anything else (except controller) plugged into ps5.  Rep from EA turned off account verification and said it would remedy (which it did not).  Please let me know how to fix as the game is not playable in any online mode as it stands now.  

I was told in EA chat yesterday to post a picture of the lost connection screen before anyone could diagnose.  Not sure how this screen will assist considering it says the same thing every time.  When I’m losing connection, it is to the server and my internet is not going offline.  

  • I am having same issue. Can play nhl 24 online but not nhl 25 which implies it’s a ea issue not internet issue. Ea - I want my money back for nhl 25…not acceptable

      I have the Cat6 cable and no internet issues.  Never have packet loss.  Every 4 games or so I get kicked from the servers.  It happens online and in moments/squad battles.  I know for a fact it isn’t my internet.  So frustrating that the ISP points to the game and the game points to the ISP.

    Posted two days ago and still nothing from anyone with a fix.  I was told in chat that someone on the EA team would look into this if I posted.  I’ve heard of this issue being fairly wide spread.

        Hello. I was away for the last week and just returned today. Apologies for the late response.

        We're not aware of any issues currently. Have you tried the troubleshooting steps here?

        Normally, disconnects are a sign of packet loss. Have you spoke with your ISP to see if they are seeing any issues?

    I have no lag or packet loss.  This is a server/game related issue.  I never had this happen in nhl 24.  Started happening in nhl 25.  Someone else on your team told me this is a known issue and being looked into yet you say it isn’t a known issue.  Confusing.
