Keep getting disconnected while leading and losing 10+ rank points.

Hi EA Team! 🏒

Hope all is well with you.

I keep losing connection every now and then mid-game, making me loose a bunch of points and competitive rank in online versus. Happens most of the time when I am leading the game as well which is really frustrating and takes away the fun of the game and hard work I've put in. I have a 296-48-5 record and I am pretty sure about 25-30 of all those losses are connection related, the other losses I admit are without a doubt me getting my **bleep** kicked.. 😅 

I feel like it is unfair to be punished and lose 10-13 rank points when being disconnected especially in the lead of a game. Can you please consider this?

My internet is stable, I even switched Wi-Fi provider with an even faster speed of 1000/1000 a few weeks ago but still have the same problem. Never ever has one of my opponents lost connection while they are in the lead, but it happens to me too often. 

I am on XBOX Series S. I had the same issues in NHL 25 & 24.

Please see attached screenshots that shows internet connection is stable and ping low, but still losing connection with that.

Is there anything I can do?

    I also wanted to add that I am on a wired connection + I never start a game if it shows red or (only) yellow on the connection bar game prior to the game starting.

    It just happened again. With a 1-6 lead for me.

    Hello. Are you on a wired or wireless connection? Have you tried the connection troubleshooting steps here?

    I am having this issue as well but in WOCL 6's. It is happening at 6pm west coast time. I will happen a few times but usually about 645 or my teams second game finishing I am able to get back on. I am running a wired connection and I have great internet. Last year I was apart of the ATT issue that was going on.

    Hey. 6 PM is probably some peak time for internet use when everyone's home from work/school. Possibly, bandwidth is an issue. Have you talked to your ISP to see if they are noticing any issues during that time?

    Hello, I am on wired really fast internet. It just happened again. Once again losing 11 points in competitive rating... I took this screenshot right away and the connection seems stable no?

    I just looked through the troubleshooting steps. Have restarted router multiple times before. What other options should I look at? DNS change? I have no idea what that means to be honest.
