Menu lag

This has been an ongoing issue for years now. The menus don’t move smoothly, are buggy and cause error screens, and are way too over the top with graphics nobody actually cares about.

Menus should be smooth, quick, and flashy. Instead, we’re treated to unwanted graphics, a beloved shootout mode buried in the back of the menu, and laggy messes that give you a bad impression about the game. Fix this now.
