game was not left on. when i launch the game, it says still 3:05 left, and then when i say ok. it says cannot start game i need to buy the full game. and on the psn store it's not in the trial section anymore. I also did chat with psn and they rudely told me to talk to ea support and it's not their problem
Also the game icon has a lock icon next to it all of a sudden. Playstation support is firm saying it's not their issue. its an EA issue. they won't help.
Playstation support is saying 100% there is ABSOLUTELY nothing they can do. it's 100% an issue on EA and EAPLAY. they will not do anything. so if you can't help, then I'm out of my ea play month and trial time and i lose.

Try going to your library and see if the trial can be played from there.
Still won't work.
the trial has literally vanished from the playstation EA PLAY trial section, so ea needs to put it back. SONY say they cannot do it on their end.

We don't have any control over Sony's store so it's not something we could put back. You'll need to contact Sony support again to see if they can assist with this.
dude, I literally had a 20 minute back and forth with 2 different support people. BOTH said if there was something they could do, they would. NEITHER will do anything. and now EA won't either. So now I have to suffer for neither company fixing or looking into the problem. I'm not paying for EA PLAY again if this is how it goes. I'm also not the only one with this issue. and PLEASE do not say ' just talk to playstation again'. Believe me, it's been a huge long conversation with multiple people. they cannot fix it.

Thanks for the response. I'll let you know if I have any other suggestions. Unfortunately, I can't think of anything else since we don't have any control over Sony's store.
i just contacted them for the 4th time, as you suggested. they still say it's an EA issue. so I guess I'm not buying EA play, or nhl or anything from this point on.
they told me this "it is the Publishers of the game who decide what they want to put on our PS Store for availability." so they say ea took the trial off the store and now it's locked out everyone who has time left. so ea has to put it back. so can you tell whoever does that to please do so??

I had the same problem, I had just assumed that it was because the game came out so the trial was over.
is there a manager, or higher up i can talk to please? so i can sort this out? im done asking playstation. they are saying for sure that it's ea that removed the trial for nhl. and they can't add it. so i need to talk to someone who can put it back.
it shouldn't work like that. Fifa is still there, madden is still there. they released weeks and weeks ago. ea just messed up. or did this on purpose to screw over people so they have to buy the full game.

I checked your account and you don't currently have an active EA Play subscription. Do you play on a different account than the one you're posting with?
I do have an account. It’s not under pgpgpgpg my psn name is different
I understand now that nobody will fix this issue so I’m just deleting the game and will not get to play it. Best solution.

That looks like the same account you're posting with. Since it doesn't have an EA Play subscription, it won't be able to play the trial. The 10 hour trial can only be accessed through an EA Play subscription.
This is BS. I have a month trial. I can literally load up the fifa 22 trial as I’m typing. I just downloaded nhl 21 from ea play. If you need more account details PM me instead of accusing me of lying. Wow. Seriously. Private message me if you truly want to help.
I changed my psn user name. It’s the same account it’s always been. If you would just look at the psn store, you’d see that the NHL trial is the ONLY 22 game that has been removed. It’s clear. Just look.

I'm not accusing you of lying. I'm just telling you that the account you're posting with doesn't have a subscription to EA Play. You can contact an advisor here to have them look up the correct account.
I have one. I can send you a screenshot of that helps. I clearly downloaded the trial and played a little more than half of the ten hours already. I can launch fifa 22 trial right now. What do you need from me to make this clear? And did you see the other poster in this thread? He has the same problem. Is he also lying and doesn’t really have an ea play subscription? This is garbage. Have you looked at the psn store yet to see what I’ve been trying to explain?

That image doesn't show me any account details. Do not send a pic with them though. You'll need to contact an advisor here to have them check your accounts for an EA Play subscription.
They confirmed my account and ea play subscription. but after a huge runaround, guess what the answer was.....'go talk to sony'....guess what sony keeps saying ' go talk to EA'...so the big winners are clearly not the players.
