Team EA - you really need to fix some basic things with this game before you spend time fixing stupid bugs that no one cares about.1) Fix the damn issue with certain challenges and quests not paying out the requisite rewards despite clearly achieving them. Example: the PING reward where you hit 6 Long drives at TPC Scottsdale does not work. The career mode Part 1 quest cannot be completed if you qualify for the Bay Hill Classic and win, while yet you expect us to also win the stupid Lighthouse classic which is an alternative event to Bay Hill. This is impossible to win both at the same time. I came in first for all tourneys in part 1 yet can't claim the 9K award points. Stupid. Fix it. This is likely the same issue for the other parts later in the season where there are other alternative events.2) Fix the damn online tourney payout percentages to reflect either the a) reduced participation b/c of the summer months or b) the reduced participation due to people checking out of this game b/c you are not addressing the basic concerns/issues the community has with this game. I just finished the daily 18 hole tourney at -16 at TPC Southwind on PS5 and received a Rank and 4 pitiful tickets. I was in 70th place. RU Kidding me? I'm no slouch at this game, I'm currently ~1,100 on the global leaderboard and have never received less than an Elite award until now. There is no longer an incentive to play the online tourney mode to collect tickets and reward points. Fix this now or you will have the same 20 people playing over and over.

@4fcc25d100af738d I agree with you about the putting since update 3.0. The lip outs were added and ruined the experience. There was a post sometimes in May where someone was saying that the lip outs are needed for a more realistic experience. He was stating that gamers just need to play better. Someone else responded that he already learned the game. I have been looking for that post so I could reference; however the post is nowhere to be found. I bet the post was deleted because of the frustrations from other gamers.

I tired the first women's challenges that they just added not long ago, completed the requirements for the first one, when you have to land 1,3 & 5 balls on the green. I completed it, and as I as usual received nothing for my efforts. It was supposed to pay out coins, xp & gear. And these are new! As far as the tournaments, they need to add an handicapping system. By the way folks, 2K is now on sale. And I'm about to bite. Will still play Career Mode in this game, but that is all it is good for now. Not even any turn based online play.

@4fcc25d100af738d And of course don't forget the putting which was bang on until they completely screwed it up in the patch they released. It is terrible now. Am still trying to adjust and figure out what they did here. Am sinking more putts again now, but have to lengthen out most short putts now, and hit them firmer b/c they always leave you with some short side twister, which you have no more then a 50/50 chance on, if that. Can't even hit them perfect now. No rhyme or reason to it. Sometimes, an overswing, sometimes an underswing as far as tempo, on the same hole, to get the ball to drop. The putting, challenges, and the payouts now are the main reason I may switch to the other game. I won't if you fix lads, but you are running out of time. Get on it!!!

Regarding the alternate tournaments, the method that a few of us have used is to start a new golfer, start it on the PGA Tour with no amateur season, and then skip straight to the tournament you wish to play. With having no career statistics for that golfer, it will be dumped into the alternate by default.

You can always play a couple of rounds of stroke play with the golfer to at least unlock a few skill points if you wanted, before playing the career event, as quick play doesn't affect career stats.

I know it's far from ideal, but it is a solution of sorts.

@jsizzle102066 Those 1 inch putts can be frustrating. When the game first came out, there was no 1 inch putts; the ball just goes in. Also there is a sideways putt that move like a billiard ball; this happened after update 3.0.

For the -9 achievement, you might need to score in the next season. I did score better than -9 in a major in career mode, and I did not get the achievement. In the following season, I did it again and this time I got it.

The odd thing is that it's the Chapter 3 achievement, and I get the reward for Chapter 3, but it doesn't clear it.
