see attached screenshots, I log in with Google play and it starts me from the beginning of the game, but shows trophies so it's the right account. I wiped storage in Android settings and tried again, same result

If so can you confirm if your progress was correctly backed up, with our Save your PvZ 2 progress with iCloud and Google guide?
yes I have reinstalled the game and I use the button to log in, it sees trophies but my levels don't restore
currency isn't restored either, trophies are the only thing that show up
I did that, and they told me to post here and hope a ea member sees it

I'm also having the exact same problem. I only got to lvl 16, so I have no problem playing again, but i just completed one of the offers to collect 400+ gems and it wont sync because the account is no longer registered. However, for some reason, all the plants I have purchased all came back, just NONE of the currency or progress.
I also have this problem for two weeks ago. And I found that the player data can't be sync to server and then crash. My three devices have some issue.
Many users compliant this issue in this forum since last week.
