Hello and thanks for reaching out. Sorry to hear your games keep failing on the weekends and now two games are failing at the same time, I understand how this pattern can be disappointing. Currently I have not encountered issues with Merge Academy or Garden Blast today or on weekends, however what you’re experiencing can definitely happen for a few reasons.

ISPs often get congested on weekends. Browser games rely on constant communication with your internet service provider. On weekends, your network can get congested, especially in busy neighborhoods or if more devices in your residence are in use. That congestion can cause the game to hang or fail to load on specific days. Outdated browser. On March 3, 2026 Chrome had lots of updates: 

• Version: 145.0.7632.159/160 (Windows & macOS)
• Version: 145.0.7632.159 (Linux)
• Type: Security-focused update
• Fixes: 10 critical vulnerabilities across graphics libraries, JavaScript engine (V8), web codecs, and other subsystems

• This update is rolling out gradually, so some users may receive it now or later in the month.

Because Pogo is a modern browser‑based gaming site, it’s essential to keep our device and browser fully updated, clean, configured and have enough storage and memory available for everything to load properly. These system checks aren’t just important for Pogo, they help keep our devices clean, updated, and secure. 🤓

If you run into issues while playing, here are the most common troubleshooting steps to try:

• Outdated browser versions
• Outdated operating system (OS)
• Browser extensions or add‑ons that interfere with game scripts
• Corrupted cache or cookies (multiple ways to clean our devices)
• Device performance limitations (older hardware, low memory, etc.)
• Outdated graphics drivers (huge for gamers - this is loading, visuals and playing. #1 cause of freezing/loading issues)
• Hardware acceleration settings (on or off can affect performance differently)
• Security software or firewalls blocking game components (can change how cookies, permissions, connections work)
• Multiple open tabs or heavy background usage
• Power‑saving or battery‑saving modes reducing system performance
• VPNs or proxy connections slowing or blocking game traffic
• Router/Internet issues (modems and routers are like little computers and need maintenance)
