Hello and thanks for reaching out. Sorry to hear your games keep failing on the weekends and now two games are failing at the same time, I understand how this pattern can be disappointing. Thank you for attaching the screenshots and providing device information, it helps very much in determining possible causes.
Currently I have not encountered issues with Merge Academy or Garden Blast today or on weekends, however what you’re experiencing can definitely happen for a few reasons.
ISPs often get congested on weekends. Browser games rely on constant communication with your internet service provider. On weekends, your network can get congested, especially in busy neighborhoods or if more devices in your residence are in use. That congestion can cause the game to hang or fail to load on specific days. Outdated browser. On March 3, 2026 Chrome had lots of updates:
- Version: 145.0.7632.159/160 (Windows & macOS)
- Version: 145.0.7632.159 (Linux)
- Type: Security-focused update
- Fixes: 10 critical vulnerabilities across graphics libraries, JavaScript engine (V8), web codecs, and other subsystems
