Hello! Thank you for the details and screenshot of what you are seeing, this is 100% how you report an issue and this information is incredibility helpful in determining a cause.
A couple of things stand out here that may explain what's happening.
Firefox 151.0.3 was released yesterday June 2nd. Brand new browser updates occasionally introduce changes that temporarily affect how certain web content loads, including ads. Since your issue started around the same time this update rolled out that may be contributing to what you're experiencing. Side Note: This is very common, no matter which browser we use, they can silently change the configuration of our devices.
A few things to try, one or more may help correct the issue:
Clear Firefox cache and cookies:
- Click the three lines ☰ → Settings → Privacy & Security
- Scroll to Cookies and Site Data → Clear Data
- Restart Firefox and try to play again
Check Firefox Extensions:
- Click the three lines ☰ → Settings → Extensions
- Turn off any ad blockers or privacy extensions temporarily
- Try your game again
Check Firefox Enhanced Tracking Protection for Pogo:
- Click the shield icon to the left of the address bar while on Pogo.com
- If Enhanced Tracking Protection is ON for Pogo, try turning it OFF.
- Refresh the page and try your game again
Try a different browser:
- Safari is already on your Mac — no download needed
- Go to Pogo.com in Safari and try your game
- If it works in Safari, the issue is specific to your Firefox configuration
One additional note, your Mac is running macOS Monterey 12.7.6 which reached end of support in September 2024. While this may not be directly causing the current issue, any unsupported OS can 100% affect compatibility with modern web applications over time.
