Merge Academy Crate of Apples Still Not Working

I have tried posting on all the forums.  Is there any email address or someone we can contact about technical support?  This is crazy that a paid subscription has Zero Tech Support.  My crate of apples will not spawn any fruit.  I have tried different browsers and different devices.  I have done everything I can on my end.  Someone from Pogo needs to check from their end.  3 of the 4 orders I need to complete require some form of apples.  I'm almost at a standstill in the game.

  • This afternoon, my level 5 chest of tomes and my level 6 Crate with Magic applies stopped spawning no matter how many times I click on it.  Nothing happens.  I tried it on two different tablets and my cell phone as well.  Some others work but I ran out of space to test them all.  Is there a problem?

  • In merge academy, my Crate of Apples will not generate new apples by either opening up spaces beside it or clicking on it.  Just stopped working a few days ago.  I was hoping it would fix itself, but now I have apple pies to make and I cannot fill the orders because the apples won't spawn.  

    Can the developers look into this?  I have cleared cache and tried on several devices so it isn't on my end.

    Hello! Thank you for your patience and I am sorry no one has responded to you yet here or on Pogo Forums. 

    Please let me clarify a few things first.

    Yes! We can contact EA Help at any time, open a case and speak with someone, just log in using your Pogo credentials.  EA Community Manager EA_Lanna has developed a step-by-step guide here > [POGO] How to Contact EA Support | EA Forums - 12464874

    Thank you for taking to the time to provide a screenshot, it helps very much!

    The first thing I noticed in your picture is I can see your energy is currently at 0, I assume you have tried to use the apple crate while you have energy and it is still not working for you, correct? *The apple crate can sometimes have a mind of its own, so it is best to keep it tucked away behind other items to keep it under control, some players keep it tucked away in the upper right-hand corner.

    Upon finishing the troubleshooting steps, if you still encounter issues, you can reach out to EA Help privately or respond to this post with your information outlined in "How to report a problem on Pogo". I am certain you will soon return to making Apple Pies, this generator can occasionally be somewhat fussy.

  • Thank you for your response.  It will take me some time to get the report together.  Do I really need to list each device and operating system I tried since I have tried on 5 different devices (2 tablets, 2 cell phones, and a computer)?  The screenshot I sent was just to show that it was not spawning.  I usually have it tucked away unless I want to spawn some apples, but remember, you don't need energy because it automatically spawns when the timer resets to zero.  I have just been leaving the spots near it open in the event it starts working again.  My pogo user name is Gngr28fn in the event you want to do a quick peek before I can get all the information to you.  I will only provide the report with the computer information and not the 2 cells and the 2 tablets as it is doing the same thing on all devices.  I have tried everything including restarting devices multiple times, clearing data, cache, and cookies, and using multiple different browsers.

    Thank you for going through the troubleshooting steps! You do not need to provide information for all of your devices, just the main one you use - please don't forget to include the browsers you have tried to use and the specifics of your device.

    User name is Gngr28fn. I am using windows 11 on primary device HP Zbook.  I used firefox v144.0 and Edge v141.0.3537.92.  I included the DxDiag in the previous response.  What more do you need?

    Thank you for providing all the information needed. Anytime you run into a problem keep this information nearby, this is the process of reporting an issue. Just basic device information, your Pogo username and trying the troubleshooting steps.

    I am unable to provide a specific timeline for when this will be reviewed, so in the meantime, please try and work on freeing up the items you still have in water, you will need every space soon and the customers will not leave until their order is complete.

    Please also watch for updates on all of your devices. October 2025 has been a tech whirlwind! Rather you use Windows or Apple devices they are all receiving upgrades this month. Even if you've already checked, it might be a good idea to check again—sometimes updates can be pending or waiting for a restart + after updates like these patches are known to follow weeks after.

    Well I hit the point where the game is unplayable.  Under the progress, I have 5 orders for apple ingredients that I cannot fill.  All of them.  There are zero orders that do no include apples. There are special events that I cannot complete because that game is included in the challenges.  If this doesn't get fixed, I doubt I will continue my membership.  There are many similar free games.  It is just a shame since I've been a member for over 23 years.  I've gone through many iterations and I like collecting the badges, but if there is no way to make one of the few games I like to play playable, I'll have to give it up.  I mean is there no way for the developer to go in and remove the bad crate and either replace it with one that works again or gift me a new one?  There has to be some fairly easy way to fix this.

    Hello Abbycattx,

    It has been 5 months since I reported the bug and it still isn't fixed.  Is this normal?  It is really taking the joy out of this game. when it doesn't work as promised.  Can someone just verify it isn't working and gift me a new one or something?  This has gone on long enough.

    Trying not to be snarky or anything, but with a paid game subscription,  you expect faster resolution than 5 months.  Also, I cannot complete any orders since all the orders require items that the crate of apples generate.  I've been purchasing items when they come up in the market, but that is rare.  Also I shouldn't have to do that to keep the game moving.
