My rating points also go down after leaving a game. My points today for winning went up 1018, 1039, 1054 and when I returned later my rating was 1036. I dont stand up during games I complete my games to the end. On completion the score comes up then the next option is to continue game and if the player you were playing with leaves next shown is player forfeited game so you click OK then next option is continue. The loss of points happens after this stage as you are automatically running on a timer to join another game. Please sort this problem. I have been a paying member of Pogo for 14 years, I am based in UK so live chat options are difficult. Please stop handing people that contact you about this matter the responsibility of sorting the problems from your solution offered when the problem is within the game. After a few weeks of persevering with new canasta my score ratings have dropped considerably just by leaving the table I am playing at. Please sort the problem out. Goodness knows how I search for your response an email reply would be good.
Also in all games please rectify how to add friends and avoid others.
But why can someone start a rated game that says 4 players and there are only 2 at the table.
If I leave the table at this time, I lose ratings.
If there is not 4 players to start a game, the game should not be rated.
- Contacted technical support yesterday regarding loss of rating points each time I open Canasta to play. I have played either in quick play or rated games. 100% of the time when I come back, my rating has dropped 10-40 points. A few weeks ago I noticed it only on occasion. the problem is worse. I use either Fox or Microsoft edge. I have cleared out my cookies etc.

To help us track down what may be going on here, can you share the following?
- Your Pogo Compatibility Tool system information. This will help rule out any technical issues when sent to the Pogo team.
- Date of the last rated game you played
- Your and your opponent's ratings before the game
- Your and your opponent's ratings after the game
- Your rating upon returning to the game in a new session
This will help us narrow down what's going on. I look forward to hearing from you.

The same thing happened to be yesterday. The first game I won but they subtracted points. The next 2 games people were going in and out before game started, got the black screen and when I reset points were subtracted again. I went from 990 to 920 after winning a game and getting robbed my pogo in the space of a few min. Called EA help - on phone for over 40 minutes and they were of absolutely no help. Gave me this link. Did you get your points back after complaining or is this another one of their scams?

We're not able to grant rating points over the forums, but we would like to look into this for you. Can you share the full information I requested to the posters above you? It would help a lot in tracking down what may be going on here.

The same thing happens to me. I lose rating points overnight or any time I leave the site to do something else. In addition, if my opponent leaves, I am also penalized by losing points and then am required to sign in again to pogo and lose even more points then. Went from 1179 to 929 in 2 days unrelated to the win/loss ratio. Why are rating pts based solely on wins vs losses, with quitters punished by point loss and those who are stil there at least lose no pts. This situation has been going on since June 2020 for me.

If you had asked this immediately after my phone message, 2 e-mails, and then the e-mail passing the buck to me. All of the respondents have the exact same complaint. I have probably played 30 games after my posting, and by the way, lost them all to huge dumps of red 3s to my opponent! I also have been a paying member since 2012 and see no reason why I should do any more. None of the canasta problems existed before EA took over. The environment was more social, people were polite and enjoyed having fun. Fun doesn't seem to be in the vocabulary of most players. If you want me to help, please tell me EXACTLY what info you need (it is NOT a compatibility issue!!).
