Glitch during badge purchase

Bought the badge “Kim the Star” in Canasta. There was a glitch after I hit the button to pay for it & said “try again later”. However, I noticed that my gems had decreased so I checked my gem transactions in my account profile and the glitch allowed them to take the gems (of course), but it didn’t allow me to activate the badge. I have paid for it, but now can’t play it. Tried to report it on the EA help page, but there was not a way to do it there. Any ideas? (YES, I KNOW THIS IS A MEMBERS FORUM and no one here can wave a wand for me. Just thought someone else may have had this issue & can tell me how they solved it.)

    Hello! I'm sorry to hear that this happened to you, our browsers and devices can sometimes be quite unpredictable. To clarify this is an all-inclusive forums community, you may see replies from players or EA Community Managers who are here to provide guidance and support. 🙂

    Generally, when we experience something not quite right on Pogo, this is a good time to log out and try a few troubleshooting steps:

    Clear your browser cache and cookies
    Old or corrupted cached files can conflict with new game data, leading to incomplete loading or sudden freezes. How this helps: Clearing cache removes outdated data so the browser can load fresh assets without errors!

    Update your browser and device
    Outdated browsers may not support the latest game scripts or graphics rendering, causing compatibility issues that result in a variety of issues. How this helps: Updating ensures our devices have a clear pathway to speak with Pogo servers.

    Power Cycling 
    A modem can get bogged down by temporary data, memory leaks, or minor software glitches. Turning on and off your modem for a few minutes can help with a variety of issues.

    Being that the gems were deducted for the badge, we can safely assume the badge was purchased. After trying the troubleshooting steps, please log back into Pogo and look to see if the badge appears. You can find out under the game itself or by visiting Challenge Central and narrowing down the search to view Canasta only badges.
