Thank you for taking the time to upload the screenshots. 🙂
Since you stated you are using an iOS system on a phone & tablet while using Google Chrome, here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try - if one does not work, move on to the next:
- Double-tap instead of single tap: When selecting a dauber, try double-tapping it to ensure it registers as selected before hitting "Okay"
- Tap and hold briefly: Try tapping and holding the dauber icon for a second before releasing, then tap "Okay"
- Make sure the dauber highlights/changes appearance: Before clicking "Okay," confirm the dauber you want actually shows as selected (there should be a check mark on the dauber being used)
- Try Safari browser: Chrome on iOS often can have touch registration issues with browser games. Safari is the native iOS browser and typically handles touch inputs much better for web-based games on iPad/iPhone.
- Disable any iOS accessibility touch features: Go to Settings > Accessibility > Touch and make sure features like "Touch Accommodations" aren't interfering.
- Try in landscape vs portrait mode: Sometimes touch zones register differently depending on orientation
- Disable Low Power Mode: Settings > Battery Turn off "Low Power Mode" (can affect browser performance)
Additional Steps:
Try Desktop Mode
- In Safari: Tap "aA" in address bar > "Request Desktop Website"
- In Chrome: Tap three dots > "Request Desktop Site"
- Test if daubers work in desktop view
Clear Browser Cache in both Chrome and Safari
- Chrome: Settings > Chrome > Clear Browsing Data
- Safari: Settings > Safari > Clear History and Website Data
- Then restart browser and try again
Try Pogo in Private/Incognito Mode
- Chrome: Tap three dots > "New Incognito Tab"
- Safari: Tap tabs icon > "Private"
- Log in and test daubers
🍎 Apple News
In October, November and now December 2025, Windows and Apple devices have seen a whirlwind of updates. Any updates to our devices can cause minor to major compatibility issues (the language changed). When Windows or Apple rollout updates, these are done in stages and by regions, not everyone or every device gets an update at the same time.
Apple just released the iOS 18.2 this week, with the full public release expected on December 11th (this is a major update) it's one of Apple's biggest feature releases of the year. Even something as simple as selecting a dauber in a browser game can be affected when iOS updates change how the system handles touch inputs or web content.
In other words, if the troubleshooting steps are ineffective at this time, the update could be causing a bit of issues in general, give it some time. Watch for these updates and patches to follow on both of your devices.
