Not Receiving Infinite Lives

For a while now I haven’t been able to receive infinite lives on bejeweled stars in any way. The Easter event that’s going on right now is giving 2 hours infinite lives and i get nothing! I tried reaching out to the tech support chat but they said they hadn’t heard of such a thing happening to anyone else. THOUGH, one day a few weeks ago I opened up the game and there was a message stating a lot of players were experiencing the same issue and they gave coins as a sort of compensation. 
has anyone been able to fix this?? The EA chat said there were no bugs in the game at the moment. I play on iOS.

    I’m having the exact same problem, it’s been going on for months and nothings been fixed. I don’t think there’s anything to do but hope it’s fixed next update :(

    I’ve heard the next update has come out for a few people and they said it was fixed for them, but I don’t see any updates so far 😔 so annoying!! Especially with the events going on

    I’m having the same issue. I was advised to find similar issues in the forum and upvote them so they can fix it.
