Solitaire Home Story Winter Event

I have been a club pogo member since 2011. I have dealt with the many pogo problems that seem to happen along the way, but I don't think I should have to deal with being completely blocked out of the Christmas event in Solitaire Home Story. I posted a complaint yesterday on EA and I still have not received a reply. This is the second time this has happened to me. I missed out on the summer event also because it failed to ever start. Now I have the same problem again. I posted about this last time and never received a reply. Somebody fix my account

Today I went onto my pogo account and seen there was a new event in Solitaire Home Story, so I went into the game and there was on new event. My mom also has an account, and she told me the event started automatically when she went in the game this morning. This is not the first time an event in this game never started for me. I came on here to see if anyone would fix this issue back in the summer because the summer event wouldn't even start. I never got any response for anyone. Someone please at least respond to me this time

Hello, I apologize for the delayed response and sorry to hear about the issues accessing the Solitare Home Story Winter Event. I understand how frustrating this can be especially after missing a previous event as well.

Because Pogo is a browser‑based gaming site that runs entirely in our browser, keeping our devices updated and clean is essential for smooth communication with their servers. When glitches or errors occur, they’re most often linked to browser settings, connectivity issues, or cached data.

Here are some troubleshooting steps to help keep our devices in sync with Pogo servers:

Update your Browser: Make sure you’re running the latest version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari. Outdated browsers can break compatibility with Pogo’s games (even one).

Clear Cache & Temporary Files: Old cached data can conflict with new updates. Regularly clear your browser cache and cookies to refresh communication with Pogo servers (if you are a heavy gamer this should be done at the very least weekly). Browsers can hold onto outdated files that prevent the new events from loading. Clearing cache/cookies often fixes this.

System/Network Differences: Your device may have stricter firewall or antivirus settings than your moms, ensure Pogo is on your whitelist.

Additionally, please try power cycling → turn your router off for a few minutes, then plug it back in. This helps with:

    • Refreshing your internet connection by clearing temporary glitches in the modem/router.
    • Re-establishing communication with Pogo servers, which can resolve loading issues.
    • Improving stability and speed if your connection has been lagging or dropping.
    • Clearing network conflicts that may prevent new events or updates from loading properly.

Graphics Driver Updates (for PC and Laptop users): Graphics driver updates are one of the most overlooked but critical elements for PC and laptop gamers., outdated drivers can quietly cause major issues with visuals, and performance.

If you or anyone reading this is a Windows 10 user, please read this → Information for Windows 10 Users on Pogo: Understanding Recent Changes | EA Forums - 12897951

Please give these troubleshooting steps a try and feel free to let us know how it goes!
