Tile Hero having error "Can't Save Progress"

Started having trouble at around level 400 - now at level 450 and it seems to be getting worse. After I win the level, a message comes up that my progress can't be saved - has button to try again or quit. After 3 "try again", it will force quit and take you back to the main progress screen. But, not only does it not credit you with a win and apply advance your progress, ANYTHING that is SPENT from the powerups in that completed level it can't save is lost. This is frustrating and needs to be fixed ASAP. This has cost me a LOT of money in terms of purchases and is theft, even if it's not intentional.
