Trizzle freezing on first move.

When I try to play Trizzle, it insists on going through the tutorial and it shows me the first move to make.  When I make that first move, the screen just freezes on that animation but I can do other things on the screen like exit the game with no issues, access the settings and get boosts for the game.  This has happened repeatedly even after deleting my history, and cookies and trying to reload the game.  I'm playing in Microsoft Edge since that is the only browser I have installed.  This is a brand new computer, literally, just hooked it up 3 days ago.  Any info would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Hello! Thank you kindly for providing a screenshot, along with details about your device and the troubleshooting steps you've attempted. Perfect posting with proper information.

While on a gaming site it is common to need to do a bit of cleaning, checking and modifications on our devices. Each game on Pogo is developed differently and at times we may need to do a bit of cleaning or check our specs.

    System checks:

Enable or Disable Hardware Acceleration in Edge:  Open Microsoft Edge

    • Click the three-dot menu (⋯) in the upper-right corner
    • Select Settings
    • In the left sidebar, click System and performance
    • Click on Graphics Acceleration
    • Switch it on or off
    • Log back into Pogo to see if this corrects the issue

    Enable Java Script Edge

    • Open Microsoft Edge
    • In the address bar, type:
    • edge://settings/content/javascript
    • Press Enter
    • You’ll land directly on the JavaScript settings page
    • Make sure the toggle for “Allowed (recommended)” is turned on
    • Log back into Pogo to see if this corrects the issue

Adjust Your Monitor Refresh Rate: Lower your monitors refresh rate to 60Hz.

    • Right-click the desktop screen (wallpaper on your device)
    • Select Display Settings
    • Scroll down to Advanced Display
    • Choose a refresh Rate 60 Hz.
    • Log back into Pogo to see if this corrects the issue

Ensure your device is optimized for Windowed games

    • Right-click the desktop screen (wallpaper on your device)
    • Select Display Settings
    • Scroll down to Graphics
    • Optimizations for windowed games should be toggled ON
    • Log back into Pogo to see if this corrects the issue

Pro Tip: If you noticed upon starting your new device for the first time it went through a flurry of "updates", this is because computer devices are constantly updating for security patches, enhancements, updates, etc., this cycle never really stops, whether your device is brand new or years old.

Try and do a thorough system cleaning to get rid of the old data files, flush your DNS and power cycle. This deeper cleaning should eliminate any corrupted cache files or network configurations from those initial updates. It's a good rule of thumb to establishing a monthly routine for the basic deep cleaning tasks and system checks to help prevent issues from accumulating.

Give one or each of these troubleshooting steps a try, I am confident this will help with Trizzle freezing.

Please feel free to let us know how it goes, other gamers and viewers will be reading this as well 😊

  • Thank you so much for all of the information you provided to me.  I went through the steps and I'm happy to say that adjusting my refresh rate of my monitor to 60Hz cleared the issue for me.  Thank you again for saving my sanity!!
