A list of issues I've found.
- "Wall Carver" challenge won't show as complete on map after all objectives are met.
- "Holy Huck" challenge won't show as complete on map after all objectives are met.
- Blue and yellow target marker remains under player when completing "GOOOOOOAL!" challenge.
- "Waiting for players" text stays on screen and makes you wait to start a challenge even though you're playing solo.
- "Return to session marker" text stays on screen after you return to session marker and won't go away until you restart the game.
- Not enough slam challenges available to complete Daily Task "Complete at least 2 goals in a slam challenge." (I was only given 2 for the day, and you need to complete 4 to finish the Daily Task.)
- Game does not specify nollie rotations as frontside (fs) or backside (bs).
On top of this, the game doesn't feel well optimized (for PC at least). When I boot the game up, my fans spool to 100%, hang there, and temps rise rapidly. I have adjusted my fan curve multiple times with the same end-result. The only other game I've had this happen with is Need for Speed: Heat, which is also an EA game. (I'm beginning to see a theme here.) For reference, I'm running the game on an RX 7800xt and Ryzen 7 7700 @ 1440p. (Well above the recommended system specs.)
I understand that skate. is Early Access, but my computer shouldn't sound like a fighter jet about to take off, especially since the devs/marketing team opted to go the route of a Fortnite-like graphic style. If EA can make Battlefield 6 look as pretty as it does while simultaneously allowing it to run well on older/lower-end hardware, they should be able to do it with this game.
