Feedback…

I am not a casual observer. I held the #1 World Rank in S.K.A.T.E. and was a Top 10 global player across multiple competitive categories in previous Skate titles. I’ve spent thousands of hours mastering the technical "chess match" that made this franchise legendary.

And right now? You are losing the very players who built your community.

  1. THE "COMMUNITY PARK" PROBLEM: SOULLESS AND AI-LIKE

The current "Community Parks" feel procedurally generated and completely disconnected from skate logic.

  • THE "AI" FEEL: There is no flow. The spacing between ramps is illogical, rail heights are inconsistent, and the lines are non-existent. It feels like assets were dropped into a neon void by an algorithm rather than a skater.
  • THE "NEON SLOP": We don't want "placeholder" blocks and rotating junk drawers. We want hand-crafted, permanent spots designed by humans who understand how a line is supposed to feel. If the map doesn't have flow, the game has no "play."
  1. THE DEATH OF TECHNICAL COMPETITION

The player base is plummeting because the "Social Sandbox" is aimless. You’ve traded the skill gap for "participation trophy" mechanics.

  • NO MORE "SCORE-OFFS": S.K.A.T.E. is not a score-attack mode. It’s a game of horse—about precision, mirroring, and the pressure of the flick.
  • THE LORE VS. THE GAME: Your "Impervatek/Invincibility" lore has sanitized the grit out of the game. Without bails, letters, and actual stakes, the competition feels empty.
  1. THE SOLUTION: "STANDARDIZED RANKED S.K.A.T.E."

If you want to save your player count in Season 3 and beyond, you must implement a Hardcore Ranked Mode. To win back the core community, it must include:

  • FORCED STANDARDIZED SETTINGS: Competitive play is meaningless if one player has "Auto-Land" or "Grind Assist" on. Lock both players into Hardcore/No-Assist settings.
  • STRICT TRICK RECOGNITION: If the leader lands a Nollie 360 Inward Heel, the follower must land that EXACT flick and rotation. Matching a "point total" is a slap in the face to competitive players.
  • CLASSIC TURN-BASED FORMAT: Give us the "Lead and Follow" camera. Let us see the opponent's feet. Make the tension real again.

FINAL WORD TO FULL CIRCLE:

You interpret the success of previous games as "funny physics and random chaos." You’re wrong. They succeeded because they were best-in-class simulators that allowed for elite competition.

The "Live Service" fluff won't keep us. The "Daily Tasks" won't keep us. The Grind for Skill is what keeps us. Give us back the technicality, or watch the servers go dark.
