The annoying popups that take up 1/4 of the screen and interrupt tricks in progress have GOT TO GO. Who wants these besides the non-gamer executives who insist they will help with engagement?
SERIOUSLY this is just about the worst intentional design I have ever seen in a video game.
Don't think I've ever seen anything take up 1/4 of my screen, what popups are you talking about specifically.
The only social popups I get are when someone asks me to join their party, and that is a small pop up in the top right corner.
In Skate. the incredibly annoying pop up windows asking you how you want to interact with a nearby person. This interrupts the trick most of the time since it takes over your trick control to navigate this unwanted pop-up. This is BAD DESIGN.
I could be wrong but it sounds like your talking about the social radial menu with emotes, ect. ?
If so this shouldnt just pop up near people, you need to hold R3 down then click communicate when near a player or hold left on the d-pad. Maybe check your settings incase something was changed by accident.
If its not the social radial menu you are talking about then i am so lost and have no idea what your are describing.
Then I want to change the control that brings up that menu.
if nothing in your settings/controls have changed then it could be a problem with your controller.
