Honestly the game is trash.
This is nowhere near skate 1, 2 or 3. They took out a lot of moves, grabs and grinds. The characters look like Fortnite characters and that blows. I’m not sure why this game was made this way it went...

skate 1,2 and 3 look like absolute **bleep** compared to this wonderful masterpiece. and the gameplay is 10/10. sentimental fanboys are out of touch with reality
Naw. Not out of touch with reality. About if is waited 10 years for this game and it came out like a kid game in a lot of our opinions. And compared to other new skate games coming out, blows this one away with their graphics, story line, their buttons actually registers to do tricks unlike skate4. Kinda hard to enjoy a game and progressing a game when the buttons don’t even freaking work to progress in the game.
its a kid game if you leave the control assists on. turn them off and you can play realistic. graphics...they went for a more modern aesthetic. skate 1,2 and 3 look like **bleep** and people would cry even harder if that was released in 2025. though I don't mind if they grunge up the game more. im not sure what modern skate games you're talking about cause session looks like **bleep** and skater xl looks decent with mods but the animations are bugged as hell
story line...whatever, its a multiplayer game and the missions are narrated. they just need to fix the soft lock bugs.
the buttons definitely register tricks, that's a skill issue. unless you're talking about the vert pumping bug which requires a game restart. I've tried basically all the grinds and flip tricks at this point and they work if you input correctly.
