i just logged out.

i logged on to continue my progression. i wanted the chase the cosmetics from the crew missions. i can't. the next step is throwdowns, which require other players. there are 3 currently in San Van with no players.

 so my personal progression is stalled. the end.

i turned it off. i personally think this is poor design.  you should never link a players progression to another player's participation.

i play WITH them but FOR myself, if that makes sense. maybe it doesnt.

the result is me not playing skate. if that's your goal, you are succeeding.

    I just booted up and had a look around SV and I saw two throwdowns that had at least one person in. I went to Isle of Morg, and there was 3 people in the lower spillway throwdown. Then, I went to SUMR camp, put a spot battle throwdown down at the top of the course, and I had 4 people join in the space of 10 seconds. 

    So luckily, your progression isn't stalled at all! All it takes is a tiny amount of patience, and you will be done with these throwdowns in no time. Make sure you enable this setting below in Social and set it to "Everyone" so you get invited to every nearby throwdown. 

    Set it to everyone. Sorry, couldn't be bothered changing it for the screenshot.

    Remember, there are up to 149 other living, breathing human beings in the lobby with you. I guarantee you at least one of them is looking to do this task too, especially when most players are freshies.
