I have 1,775 leftover Chocolate Coins after buying all Halloween items in the store "In The Spooky Spirit." Is there something we can spend them on or is this another overlooked bug?
The rest of the Halloween stuff you're looking for is in the Overpriced and Oversaturated SVB portion of the shop. The chocolate coins are useless to us now.
You clearly haven't read the thread. The complaint is about the lack of cosmetics to spend said currency on, and not excess currency. They rolled out 2 weeks' worth of cosmetics that could only be purchased for san van bucks and not the chocolate coins. And once you look at what was earnable by playing the game, it was pretty pathetic. 2 of the same witch mask just recolored, a black dress, some socks, a couple of banners, stickers, a pair of shoes, one hoodie, a deck, an emote, and a deck, and like 3-4 drop objects. The only cool stuff was the skate deck and the coffin pad. The other stuff is just crap. The stuff the community was most hyped about in the teaser trailer ended up being paid content, for example, the candy bucket head and the horse mask. They should have been more transparent with the community on what was going to be paid content and what was going to be earnable content.
I get what you're saying, but having a different opinion doesn’t mean someone "doesn’t understand the issue."
I’ve seen most of the complaints here and on Discord, and honestly, for a short seasonal event, this game offered way more items than most others I’ve played. Sure, not everything was amazing, and I’ve still got around 9k coins sitting unused myself.
But let’s be real, even if they added more stuff, people would still find something new to complain about. It’s just how these threads go lately.
Just wanted to come back and say that I was sadly right, and they just lowered the amount of "wood nickels" you get during the event instead of just making more content for us to unlock. But hey, at least we can buy the premium event pack in the first week instead of week 2 this time. yippee.
