Please tell me this is a joke....

This is just an excuse to have another in-game store to make money. Personally, I can't stand the cartoony look of everything, the grittiness is gone. This feels like skate kids. The dialogue during the tutorials is as cringe as it could possibly be to the point that I couldn't even be bothered to finish the hour plus long hand holding session to get to whatever the game is supposed to be. The icing on the cake is the always online aspect. Why? What purpose does that serve besides being able to have other skaters around all the time? Why not make going online an option that can be turned on and off in the pause menu for those that want it on or off? It just seems hand crafted to be the worst possible skate experience in my opinion. Stick to the old games and don't waste your time with this mindless cash grab. I think it says something that I played a free game for over an hour and ended up quitting and uninstalling with no plans to ever play it again.
