Skate Shop Experience

Things to consider changing.... listen up devs!

I think this is the biggest one for me. Lootboxes, customisation and skateshops. In my mind the whole thing needs an overhaul, but I'm sure it is too far down the tracks for that.

A walk in skate shop would in my mind be so much better. Almost GTA style. I'm sure with modern graphics you could make it feel just like a regular town skate shop with music playing and shirts/decks on the wall

How many hours have you spent in a skate shop like this? Could even have a mini ramp out back with a small stair set... skate shop comps...

It's really quite stunning that the game doesn't even have a normal skate shop.

Skate shops have always been a core location in real-world skate culture. This stupid arcadey menu with loot boxes and cash transactions is shocking, I truly cannot believe they made it this way.

  • The fact you can't customize your clothing (or even start out with a simple pair of denim) is ridiculous. I wear more hats backwards. Hoods up. And chunky headphones. Layering clothing is how I skate in the spring and fall. Choosing your Style is a huge part to walking into a skate shop and needs more focus. Not unlockables. I wouldn't mind micro transactions for Independent Trucks or Osiris shoes. (Hell I wear 2 separate colored Vans Half Cabs IRL) But I'm not paying more than $Free.99 for a game with no ability to choose my basic outfit from the start.
