The game keeps crashing

This issue also happens on PS5. It's so bad either I open the game an after like 20-30 seconds it crashes either I open it and the online doesn't work (players are just invisible and their usernames go wherever they want with like 3 fps). Please fix it.

I'm still having this issue, no fix still?

no fix yet keep reporting so maybe one day we will be able to play the game

Yeah just reported, I've tried loading behind apps, clean installs, repairs etc. Even system updates and drivers, really no idea what seems to be affecting a margin of people but not everyone? It's strange.

So I found some kind of a fix! Well it works for me! So I tried almost anything, driver updates, se if firewall and antivirus have block something in the game…. Nothing works! Then it must be the game, not my pc!

in game, go and set the graphics settings to Medium, yeah it’s silly I know, but it works for me! I skated around with the medium setting, for 10min no crashing! Fast travel no crashing! Then I set it back to ultra settings! Skated for about 40min or so, no crashing! Runs smoothly!

if you got lively wallpaper running, shut it down! Don’t know if that have something to do with it! I just did it

Update! You need to do it when you restart! The game is doing some auto configuration of some kind!? I don’t know, but it will crash again after restart! So do the medium graphics! Then it runs fine

It sounds really silly to say this but I've booted from steam last night and whilst I crashed several times and got locked out I actually cracked about 4 hours of gameplay, around 1 crash/lockout every hour or so.

It's not ideal but steam does seem to be having less trouble with the cheat engine also! 

I will add when I D/C from skate on task master you can see a massive ethernet spike, not sure if that has any relevance! Thanks!

crashes all the time... when you change from one place to another, or just without doing nothing

This is still a problem. EA do you even read these?

Same issue here. Spawned to a location and game immediately crashed to desktop with no error message. Now whenever joining the game and spawning in, the game crashes immediately every time. This has been going on for almost 2 weeks now, and seems to be nothing client-side considering i've uninstalled and re-installed on both the EA Launcher and Steam.

I tried analysing the crashdump .mdmp file and here's what I got : "The thread tried to read from or write to a virtual address for which it does not have the appropriate access."

I tried moving away/deleting the data file in C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Skate\ and sometimes it works, sometimes it still crashes. Also it seems to have something to do with high graphics settings. It crashes more often when on 'ultra' than 'high' (even though I have a pretty good GPU). 

It needs patching.
