Time for change?

Is now the time for the devs to listen to the fans and make major changes to save the game?

I'm not sure how accurate they are, but the chart you can find online of daily users are showing peaks of around 3,000. I don't know a huge amount about the mechanics of microtransactions, but I think that EA will need more than this to keep the game afloat.

If the devs want to reach out, I’m more than happy to provide some suggestions, and I’m sure there are many others here who would also.

I’d love to see this game succeed as it has been such a wait since Skate 3. The game has a fanbase to support it, if changes can be made.

  • The game definitely does still have a community. It feels like the execs, not devs, don't fully understand that and still feel like stretching the game to the general audience will yield higher monetary gain.

I actually came to the forums to report a bug. Stickers aren't rendering on the Steam/PC version for me, even though they show up fine on PS4, but you're right about the 'Live Service' model and I checked the steam charts after your post. 3000 current players is a little low and stresses me out. It might satisfy the board of directors in the short term, but someone in the room needs to advocate for the players and realize that a sustainable niche game cannot run on a microtransaction engine. The top requirement is a satisfied community. And just like you, I want this game to succeed. I've been waiting since skate 3 as well, and I would also be more than happy to provide suggestions.
