Vee, AI voice-over, Profit over players

I tried to create a concise title covering my issues with the game.

AI Voice-Over:
I don't necessarily have an issue with the AI voice-over, but it brings to light the lack of effort that was put into the progression of the player. I don't find it rewarding to sit there and listen to an AI voice tell me about new trick. Without fail, I skip dialogue every time. It has gotten to the point where I have just turned voice overs off entirely, it is that off-putting.

Vee:
I don't think Vee should be in the game. Give us a real voice over and have a bunch of quips lined up to comment; Vee in its current implementation feels lazy and out of place. This goes for all the purple mission voice-overs as well. I have disabled Vee's commentary but found it resets every time I reboot the game and does not prevent all of Vee's commentary.

Profit over players:
After playing for about 9 hours, I'm not sure where this game is going with its progression. While I think the implantation of the "loot boxes" is ok, I don't like that EA has obviously placed priority on cosmetics that cost real money. If you are a free-to-play game, it makes sense that you would try to earn money off cosmetics. I should not need to go down 5 or 6 rows to find the "loot boxes" that give me the buildable items (literally the only thing I spin for in these boxes). I think its disingenuous to the people that put time in and play your game. If someone likes your game they will spend money. I have limited the times I go to the shop as a direct result of these monetization practices.

Do I think I would play this game long term?
Simple answer is no. I don't think the missions are all that unique, once you have played in that spot the next missions are identical paths with slight variations. I am not looking forward to the progression grind as I can already see the exponential curve having unlocked the first two areas. Playing with friends during peak player counts puts you in a waiting for players screen that can last multiple minutes. Skate parks are hit or miss, I would love a feature to save prior skate park layouts to then let you skate them at any point in the future. This would allow players that play a lot to save a layout to enjoy later with their friends, versus removing the content in favor of a live-service approach.
