Greetings!
I claimed BF2 back in 2021 when it was free, it played well, but now i cant launch the game. "There's been an error Try resetting your password and restarting your game. You can now close this window". even if i change my password, the error message is still the same. i can't download the game either. I tought maybe Epic Games created me a separate account, if its possible.

It sounds like you're linked to an old, disabled EA account. If you have any other email addresses you might have used to make it I'd recommend trying to reset the password via those, but otherwise you'll need to reach out to our live support team. They can take a look at this for you.
