I got BFII from epic, epic installed EA app, i tried to run the game, but nothing happened

I've tried everything: reinstallalling the game(2 times)/ea app(>2 times), clearing cache, repairing the game, etc.
I've seen that formatting the disk ea app installed on may help, but I cant format any of my discs, so Im trying to find another solution.

Me too mate. I got it from EGS back when it was free. I was able to play but deleted it. So I want to play again and it not working. Try to lauch desktop shortcut BF2 -> preparing game ->open EA app. No black screen, no error message, nothing.
what is the folder name or file name that you deleted? I try to launch without mods what should I check?
Hy! I solved my problem! I installed periously in a folder witch contained special characters like á é (hungarian characters) so i had to reinstall in a folder without special character in the name. EA app use a code that can' "read" special characters.

Yeah i have same issue sad to see, i got it on epic. I played many hours i can see it in ea luncher but it doesnt show even on epic one, tried everything...
