Slow update/ repair speed, stuck update, PC/EA App

SW Jedi saying repairing but size 128gb but get done at 67% then just keeps starting again. After awhile its says error restart EA

Disable any antivirus software or add EAapp and games folders in antivirus exception.
Run the EAapp with Admin rights.
Run the game repair procedure.

This game needs 150GB of free HDD space to patch or repair. If you dont have that then it becomes stuck. Check that you have at least 160Gb of free space on the disk you ahve the game.

I notice the people having the same problem I'm having with the newest patch requiring 130 GBs to patch with the EA app but I'm having the same problem on Steam please tell me i can fix this without uninstalling the game because when I first installed the game it took 5 hours and i don't want to sit through that again.

The app sucks. I pre loaded Jedi survivor just to come home after work to an update that broke the app and kept the game stuck in preparing updating. It was quick to just redownload the game and play. 12 gameplay hours later another update has it broken to where it gets stuck in applying said update. So here I go again uninstalling and reinstalling the game because that just seems to be quicker. Its really obnoxious to have such terrible products and support from a well known company. It's such trash and that's why I will almost never purchase an EA title again.

ive cleared the app cache and this happens everytime 

I'm experiencing the common problem of not being able to download Jedi Survivor's updates as it requires another 130 gb. At it's release it asked me to update and I just went ahead and reinstalled the entire game and that seemed to fix the problem. Today I got an other update and I read what some alternate solutions were provided here and it was just to have the amount storage free and it'll return it when done. I did exactly that and now it says that it's finalizing the update or uploading it and it's stuck at 67% and gives me constant errors.

I uninstalled the entire game and now I am reinstalling. Hope this fixes it. 

This might not be Jedi Survivor specific, but with a game that size it becomes a really annoying problem: 
The download issues might be just the server being overrun. That happens I guess. But after the download finally finished it spend about...

... 30min applying the patch and...

... another 30min for verifying to 55% where it is now writing this. 

Meanwhile my son's game was already patched and ready to play an hour ago because he was smart and bought it on Steam. 

Again, I'm not talking about the download issues. Applying and verifying happens on my machine. And it takes forever. And it's not my hardware.
