Alright, so first of all - i first tried playing SWTOR ages ago. I believe it was a few month after game release. Made a character, played a bit, abandoned the game. Recently i came back to the game. And (this is important) i was automatically connected the server with my old character (so i didnt get the server selection screen and couldnt know that i automatically got connected to NA server). After noticing my mistake i tried to contact support via in game ticket service and ask if it is possible to get a character transfer. That was a disappointment. After waiting for 5 days i got a response which basically said - "Call us"

I gave up on trying to contact support so i decided to just buy a character transfer. But i needed 500 more cartel coins. And here is where my problem is. I had the same one when i tried to start subscription (but i worked around it by purchasing the game from origin store) - when i click Buy now button (on cartel coins pack or on subscription plan) i get this error - "Redirection Strategy Error" wich reads "An error has occurred while trying to redirect your request. Please, try again later"

Try again later part is a lie - i had the same mistake when i first was purchasing the game - on 04.12. After i did a quick search i found out that the issue is with outdated payment info. When i go to Show your payment history - it is empty and there are no attached payment info that i can delete. Attaching a screenshot of it

Thank you for the posts, we merged them as this appears to be the same issue. Are you still having purchase issues today? If so, can I check your region, currency and what payment method you're using?

Yes, still same issue. I also had it almost a month ago.

My region is Russia, payment method is going to be debit card, currency is ruble

Reaching for the support is hard. My first ticket i had to wait 5 days for a generic not helpfull reply.

Is there any other way to contact support besides calling them or using in game ticket? Because im not going to call them

Unfortunately for billing / account related issues you would need to call customer service.  For account security they will only discuss billing issues over the phone and need to verify account ownership via phone.  This is not something they can provide via the public forum.  Also in-game tickets don't assist with billing issues, they only assist with in-game issues.

Their contact info is here and you can also use a VoIP program such as Skype to call at a discounted or low cost is the normal method is an issue.

So there is literally no way to use text to contact support? Not even using stuff like skype? That.. feels very wrong. I cant say i can speak english very well (horrible accent)

I've seen this a few time with customers from Russia. There's a fix/workaround that usually does the trick. First log on to swtor.com and go to My SWTOR -> My Account -> Subscription -> Show your payment history.

When you're there, remove any payment methods you have saved on the account.

Next log on to ea.com and go to Account Settings -> Payment Methods, and delete any payment methods that are saved there.

When you relog on to swtor.com and try to buy something, it should direct you to add a new payment method.

Yeah, i found that solution before i made my post. but if you look in screenshot i attached to my post - you will see that i dont have any payment methods attached (and it also shows no activity from account)

Asking again - is there really no way to contact support with text? Maybe using text in voip like skype? I dont speak english very well (and besides, using third party program to contact support just feels wrong)
