Launch crash

Fresh Windows 11, fresh Steam SWTOR, after I signed in, in the launcher, accepted the EULA, pressed play, I see the loading wallpaper for less than a second, and then the game closes with the crash report

Upfront, I did everything, starting with client_settings, finishing cleanboot.

I just wanna play the game 😭. Please help me

  • proxos666 long story short I fixed it. Thanks to  "Warhammer 40,000 Dawn of War - Definitive Edition" when I launch the game, the same crash occurs, but Dawn says it's a problem with the sound. So I simply changed the sound device and now I can play the game 🤣

I switched red to blue and no crash

press the windows key and type reliability and view the reliability history see if that has any further details

also open a command prompt as administrator and run

    sfc /scannow

if you go into add remove programs and look at the c++ listed , most of them you can click on the 3 dots and select modify , and you will get another popup to run a repair , do what you can in the list

    just in case

not sure were to go from here

the dxdiag shows multiple bccode 141 , google bccode 141 that will give you an idea of what that is

    Event Name: LiveKernelEvent
    Response: Not available
    Cab Id: 0

    Problem signature:
    P1: 141

3rd party overlays can crash swtor on startup as well , but a clean boot should of stopped them on startup
