I'm having the same issue, can't subscribe.
Tried to reset my EA account password and change the email address.
Do I really need to call? Is there absolutely no way to email in?

Support suggests it is best to call swtor support when the lines are open to fix the account issue, should be a quick fix though

sorry i'm not going to spend money on an international call to fix a problem that isn't triggered on my end.
other alternatives? Do you have a contact to escalate this to?

i emailed in yesterday and they told me to call.
are all the options out of the window? guess i won't have a reason to come back and play then.
The issue is the linked ea account which is needed for purchasing on that swtor account has been deleted and its data has been wiped , the email address that is needed to recover that account has already been used on another ea account, so swtor support now need to put a new email address when recovering the deleted ea account, they will only do that on the phone.
your only remaining option is to create a new swtor account, purchasing will work in the new account.

Strange, i don't recall that i deleted any EA accounts. As far as i know i only had one and it was working okay after i logged in it after 2 years.
anyways, if there are no resolutions, i rest my case. EA or BioWare will need to implement a fix for everyone affected, not expect people to call in.

I also can't subscribe on my SW:TOR account despite having reset both accounts' passwords: xilni on both accounts.
To try and restore the deleted and wiped EA account
You need to reset the password on the wiped linked EA account that account uses a Me.com email so its a different email to the Gmail email used on your swtor account, using the same email on accounts does not create an account linkageuse the following link (insert the Me.com email) to reset the password then login on that EA account to fix the swtor account for purchasing
for future purchases, use incognito mode on chrome initially if you purchase on swtor.com to be sure browser cache and cookies is cleared

The Linked EA account with the persona cliffa101 has been disabled and its data has been wiped
use this link to try and restore the account the email needed is a Gmail email address (so its not the email used on the Swtor account and the ea account TkRoxy your posting on now)

otherwise your only remaining option is to make a new swtor account
@proxos666 my account is over 10 years old, with progress so huge that making new account is really brainless idea and im not gonna make international call for something thats not my fault so no worries.. if it cant be fixed like this im just not gonna play xD thanks for replying tho, have a nice day.
your choice, but it can only be fixed by phoning due to the issue, if it could be fixed any other way it would be offered
